What is the BRVM?

The Regional Stock Exchange (BRVM) is the common stock market of the eight WAEMU countries. It provides companies, governments and investors with access to an integrated regional market.

Fees and commissions

A stock-market transaction costs more than the gross value of the securities. Market fees, brokerage fees and applicable taxes must be included.

0,20 % BRVM

Commission related to trade execution on the market.

0,10 % DC/BR

Commission related to central custody and settlement services.

Variable Broker (SGI) and taxes

Depends on your broker’s fee schedule and the applicable tax rules.

The 0.30% market commission (BRVM + DC/BR) is separate from your SGI’s brokerage commission and from applicable taxes. Always check the current fee schedule before placing an order.
